What Iā€™m About

Problem-solving is in my DNA, using my creative limits is my daily exercise, building meaningful products is my dream, and my positive and quirky personality is just an added bonus!

With an academic background in Anthropology, I have always had a curiosity in unraveling the mysteries behind human behavior and it has always been my goal to understand why: "Why do we do the things we do? What motivates us?" My Anthropological training has not only provided me with qualitative research skills but has also helped me find empathy for different perspectives. Before I came to UX, I was a Process Analyst, where through analyzing business processes and workflows to identify areas of improvement, I discovered that I have an analytical and technical mind.

Together, my experiences give me a competitive advantage in research, communication, and knowledge of the technology industry, which are critical skills for understanding how products fit into people's lives beyond usability. I wanted a way to bring together my desire to understand human behavior and creatively solve problems, and this is where I discovered my passion in research.

In my most recent role, I had the opportunity to work for UserTesting's Professional Services team where I provided consultative research services to clients across various industries, including e-commerce, finance, software, social media, and travel, among others. My ability to articulate research findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner has fostered strong client relationships and ensured successful project outcomes.

Outside of work, you can find me training for a marathon, attempting to cook a new recipe, and snowboarding the great mountains of the West.
